Browsing through a person's closet can reveal a lot about their personalities. Room Raiders? MTV? Anyone? Okay..well even if you don't watch terrible early 2000's TV shows, if you are a part of Greek life then you probably have a stellar t-shirt collection. One that would make a J.I. drool. Well what you may not know is that your prized collection says a lot about what type of person you are in the same way your personal style does.
Boys, your personality can be carefully evaluated by your t-shirt choices. For example, that cute boy in the large lecture class, (you know the one, you know where he sits, how he pushes his hair back when the teacher cracks a not-so-laughable joke) you know that when he wears his letters you have prime stalking material. By simply wearing a letter shirt you are making the social media stalking phase so much easier (not to mention your letters make you all that more attractive). All it takes is finding the inevitable PC pic on Facebook and scoping him out. So hint boys: invest in plenty of PR shirts from your fraternity. Large Font. And take off your Patagonia for crying out loud. Then there are the boys that do not wear their letters. Like the guy that sweetly smiles at you on Tuesday and Thursday as you walk to class, but you don't know what fraternity he belongs to so the stalking phase cannot commence. He always has another sorority's shirt on. This definitely means he is outgoing, and probably a great function date (I wouldn't know).
I consider myself a prime over analyzer. Since my class wardrobe consists of black leggings, tennis shoes, and socks, the only aspect of my outfit I can over analyze is my t-shirt choice. Because let's face it.. we don't wear anything else to class. So, each day when I go to select from one of my precisely folded and color coordinated shirts I think carefully about what that day will bring. For example, the cute boy in my Spanish class has a mutual friend that is a sister. I definitely want him to know that we have something in common so I will wear my letters on days I have Spanish. Then, there's always the hard to get card that can be played so easily with t-shirts. Talking to a guy? Well you want him to know that you are in high demand and you know other boys so you wear another fraternity's shirt just to let him know.
The most important aspect of a great t-shirt collection, as I have mentioned above, is variety. You need go to shirts to flaunt your letters and a plethera of choices. Need to spice up your variance? Try trading shirts with the guy down the hall or the girl you went to the function with. More than likely they want your shirts just as much as you want theirs. Another key in a great t-shirt collection is variance in size. I love my XL sweatshirts for super lazy days. Large t-shirts are a given for everyday class wear. Also, I like to keep some more fitted V-necks and recruitment shirts. Large tanks are a must in the summer for cover ups, but a tighter tank is much better to work out in. Overall, variety is key to a great t-shirt collection. It's an easy way to have your personality on display!
