Kardashian Quotes For Your Little

Kardashian Quotes For Your Little

As a big sister it’s your responsibility to help make your little have the best freshman experience possible. The only way to do that is by preparing her for what’s about to go down through various Kardashian quotes.

The dining hall

Your first meal at the dining hall might seem pretty good. The first week even might seem tolerable. But pretty soon you’re going to realize how much of a privilege eating off campus becomes. Going home to mom’s cooking is going to become you’re favorite thing about breaks hands down. It’s not that the food is necessarily bad; it’s just that when you’re looking at the same options for an entire year everything seems to get old eventually. People are going to continually warn you about the freshman 15 but when it comes down to having a mediocre salad in the dining hall or going to Chick-fil-a, you’re not going to care.

Welcome to “The T-shirt Club”

Little did you know that when you joined a sorority you also joined a little organization we like to call “The T-shirt Club”. The reason it’s called that is because you’ll soon realize that you have more t-shirts than there are days in the year, yet you will still continue to purchase more. It almost becomes an addiction, honestly. Did you really go to that function or event if you didn’t buy a t-shirt for it? What better way to show people that you’re totally srat than walking around campus with a shirt that has your letters printed in an extremely bright font?  Go ahead and hop on the t-shirt bandwagon now, it’s going to be hard to get off.

 Your life becomes a theme

Who knew you would need a fanny pack and jersey in the same week? You’ll quickly catch on to the fact that themes are a pretty big part of Greek life. Whether it’s an 80’s disco skate or a summer beach party, you’re going to need a lot more costumes than you thought you would for college. You’re going to realize that shopping at thrift stores and raiding your best friend’s closet become regular activities. Planning outfits pretty much becomes your new normal.

Everyday is a photo-shoot

Similar to the Kardashians, it’s best to look great wherever you go because you never know when the paparazzi (a.k.a. your sisters) are going to snap a pic. If there’s one thing you learn quickly about joining a sorority it’s that every opportunity is a photo opportunity. For every event there’s most likely a photo booth set up at your convenience. From formals to philanthropy fundraisers, someone’s always going to ask for a picture. The good part of this is that your social media accounts will not be lacking content. It may not be a Kim K level selfie but there’s sure to be some good memories captured.

Talking to the ‘rents

Once you get started with the hustle and bustle that is college life, it’s easy to forget that there are people back home constantly worried about you. Even though your mom may call every day for the first week, just go ahead and pick up the phone and let her know you’re okay. When your dad texts for the thousandth time to make sure you have the right text books and are getting to class okay, remind him you’re doing great! This experience is just as important to them as it is you so don’t forget to call every now and then.

It’s the final(s) countdown

There’s no way to sugarcoat your first college final. It pretty much hits you like a train. Going into it you’ll think you’ve got it covered. You’ll think about the fact that you spent the same amount of time studying for classes in high school and passed those with flying colors. However college finals are different for some reason and seem to take 10 times the work of a high school final. Once you get through your first final you’ll get the hang of it. If not, I’ll bring you chocolate and try to help you through the pain.

Freshman year may seem scary at first, but you’re going to love every second of it. I mean how couldn’t you, you have the best big out there?
