Alright, Alright, Alright. Matthew McConaughey is hands down one of the hottest celebs in the game right now. We’ve seen him take on all kinds of movies from rom-coms to dramatic thrillers. Basically, the world just needs more Matthew McConaughey in it.
This frat daddy graduated from the University of Texas in 1993 as a Delta Tau Delta. Hook ‘em. He received a Bachelor’s degree in radio, television and film, and thus… a star was born. He began working for a local Austin, Texas newspaper and began acting in television commercials on the side.
*heart eyes to his composite pic*
In the early 2000s he was notorious for starring in romantic-comedies beloved by sorority girls all over. Some of his personal best include The Wedding Planner, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and Failure to Launch.
Of course we're interested, Matthew <3
McConaughey has since switched it up to more dramatic roles in movies such as The Dallas Buyers Club, Lincoln Lawyer, and Interstellar ( all of which are highly recommended for your next movie night.) Throughout his career, Matthew has been won highly esteemd awards such as Academy Award for Best Actor, Golden Globe for Best Actor, as well as countless nominations from the Primetime Emmy Awards, MTV Movie Awards, People's Choice Awards, Teen's Choice Awards, and many others.
Drooling over this perfect human?! Don't worry, college peeps. You can catch Professor Matthew McConaughey kickin it at the University of Texas campus this next year though while he’s teaching a film class titled "Advanced Producing: From Script to Screen" modeled after his own experiences in film and TV.
Here's a real life photo of him in class. Why aren't my professors this cool?!
Time to transfer?! I think so.
Bad news though, ladies. Matthew tied the knot with Brazillian supermodel Camila Alves in 2012, and they have three cutie kids together. Together they have created the "Just Keep Livin Foundation" which is dedicated to helping teenagers live active and healthy lifestyles that help them grow into successful men and women. His family is also notorious for rescuing pets from natural disasters. So yeah... the whole fam is pretty much perfect.
But thank you for existing, Matthew McConaughey! You are by far our favorite frat guy.
