What's one food you absolutely love that other people think is weird?
How many pieces of pizza can you eat in one sitting?
Who is your celebrity crush?
George W. Bush.*** Like if I was older I would want him as my husband for sure. Ok or maybe just like my grandpa, he is hilarious. But someone my age/not weird is the classic Matthew Mcconaughey.
Have you ever broken any bones?
I haven't broken any bones but I have had 16 teeth pulled so that's a little odd.
What's the best date you've ever been on?
Free Luke Bryan concert except we got rained on for quite awhile. I wore suede shoes because there was a 10% chance of rain... so now those shoes rarely get out of my closet. It was worth it though to see Luke Bryan shake it for me ;))) even though I was on a date lol
What do you order at Starbucks?
Americano for sure... If I feel like something sweet I will get a white chocolate mocha with half the syrup and almond milk but that rarely happens.
How would you describe your personal style?
Very relaxed. If you ever catch me in jeans, I must be going to a special event.
Did you ever get sent to the principal's office as a kid? If so, tell the story!
Yes. The night before we played our rival high school football team, my friends and I snuck into the stadium and chalked all the sidewalk then left peacefully. The next morning when we arrived at school there was a bunch of ruckus so we acted like we knew nothing. It turns out, after we left the stadium another group of people snuck in and avoided the security cameras (we didn't know there were cameras and didn't even try to hide) that spray painted our mascot on the center of the field. Since our faces were on the security camera we all got called in to the principal and were questioned by the police. Even though we didn't spray paint the field, our punishment was either 2 weeks suspension or do community service after the football game that night, so we obviously did the community service.
Which Disney Princess do you most identify with? Why?
Probably Cinderella because I am blonde and have a sister that's favored over me!!!!! I am also a pretty hard worker so I guess I can relate to that
What's your least favorite part about being in college?
Staying up late studying. If I had it my way I would be in bed by 9:30 every night.
What's the worst job you've ever had?
I volunteered at a Young Life camp as a tawashie, which was one of the best experiences I've had BUT our job was to clean the bathrooms, toilets, laundry, really anywhere you can think and a staff member came with lice so we all had to get treated and had to heat treat every hairbrush, piece of bedding, and every clothing item for about 50 people.
Have you ever taken a really horrible date to a function? (this is a perfect opportunity to publicly shame him. Feel free to include his insta handle if you're feelin really savage)
I had fun with this date but he ended up getting kicked out of the function 5 minutes in. Way to go, Foster Pool!!!!!!!!!! We are actually still good friends but that night was a little interesting (@the_pool_isclosed) on insta
What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done on campus?
When I was a pledge, we were encouraged to wear dresses every Monday. So freshman Lindy was walking to class when a girl came running up to me telling me my dress rode up past my butt. I was almost to Hillside and started at Maple East.
What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done ever?
I tend to embarrass myself a lot but my most embarrassing moment also happened freshman year. It was the second week of school and I wanted to be #fit so I went to the Union gym and was running on the treadmill. I looked down and my shoelace came untied so I stood on the stationary part of the treadmill, bent down, and mid-tying my shoelace, my foot slipped on the moving treadmill and I ate it. Like rolled on the treadmill ate it. It was humiliating.
What's the best lesson you've learned so far in college?
I have learned the importance of accepting different personalities and how to get along with all types of people. It makes life a lot more fun and entertaining than being surrounded by people just like you. My sorority, Pi Phi, really embraces differences in people and makes everyone feel like rockstars, so that is the most important and valuable lesson so far.
What's your favorite thing about The Houndstooth Press?
I love the people that work there. It is so fun getting to meet other people who you probably wouldn't have met otherwise. Everyone is really different but it just works out.
