Houndstooth began in 1992 as a one man operation creating and designing quality retail products. Since then we have grown into large scale operation providing custom designs nationwide. This internship is an exciting opportunity for any undergraduate student at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Interns will provide value to our business, as well as gain valuable experience for their professional careers. The Marketing and Sales Intern will be required to assist in the daily duties and business processes at Houndstooth Press, while working side-by-side with the marketing and sales departments.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Current undergraduate student at the University of Arkansas
- Graphic Design, Art, Marketing, Sales, or Business major
- Extensive understanding of social media and marketing tools in the workplace
- Capable of handling a fast-paced workplace with short-term and long-term tasks assigned
- Work well with other interns and enjoy group project
- Exert an assertive, energetic and creative mentality at work
DAILY DUTIES:
The intern’s daily duties and tasks include but are not limited to:
- Utilizing related software to run reports and queries for various monthly processes
- Assisting in business plans/models for new services
- Assisting in identifying and evaluating new client prospects
- Writing letters and emails
- Accompanying staff on meetings, expos, and conferences
- Assisting in the overall development and implementation of marketing campaigns
- Drafting post-campaign marketing reports
- Pricing and hanging shirts and other merchandise
- Scheduling photo shoots, arranging outfit changes for photo shoots
- Attending campus events, helping set up booths, and collecting student information
