This internship is an exciting opportunity for any undergraduate student at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Interns will provide value to our business, as well as gain valuable experience for their professional careers. The Marketing and Sales Intern(s) will be required to assist in the daily duties and business processes at Houndstooth Press, while working side-by-side with the marketing and sales departments.

- Current undergraduate student at the University of Arkansas
- Graphic Design, Art, Marketing, Sales, or Business major
- Extensive understanding of social media and marketing tools in the workplace
- Capable of handling a fast-paced workplace with short-term and long-term tasks assigned
- Work well with other interns and enjoy group project
- Exert an assertive, energetic and creative mentality at work
The intern’s daily duties and tasks include but are not limited to:
- utilizing related software to run reports and queries for various monthly processes; assisting with accounts, and performing ad hoc projects as necessary.
- assisting in business plans/models for new services; researching to assist in determining best prospects for new clients; assisting in identifying and evaluating new client prospects; assisting in creating new business development strategies; writing and corresponding to emails; accompanying staff on meetings; learning to conduct competitive analysis; and supporting various office administrative duties.
- reconciling reports; researching/resolving vendor issues; preparing memos; assisting with inventory management and analysis; assisting with daily maintenance of accounts; assisting in creating presentations for clients; helping teams prepare for meetings by doing research, compiling materials and putting together PowerPoint presentations.
- assisting in the overall development and implementation of marketing campaigns; onsite support for special events; drafting post-campaign marketing reports; gathering and communicating collective feedback; periodically updating status reports, as well as tracking, analyzing and presenting findings.
- pricing, inventorying, tagging merchandise, scheduling photoshoots, arranging outfit changes for photoshoots, attending campus events, setting up booths at campus events, collecting student information, and readily available to complete tasks assigned by supervisors.
